Current volunteer opportunities at the Cathedral include:

• Altar Servers (children and adults)

• Cathedral Bookshop

• Catering Catering Guild

• Cathedral Choir

• Cathedral Cleaning Crew

• Cathedral Flower Guild

• Cathedral tour guide

• Gardens and grounds

• Pastoral Visiting, especially to age care residents

 

 

For each position, we provide some basic orientation and training, as well as ongoing support and supervision.

 

All volunteers also need to complete the Safe Ministry training offered by the Diocese at various times during the year, and to have a clearance from the Working With Children Check by the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian. We can assist with the application process for people wishing to serve as volunteers.
